Orefo ed Euridice
The Metropolitan Opera
May 7, 2011
It is always fun to put on your little black dress and head to The Met for a magical evening.
I have only been to the opera a few times but this was the first time I had good seats. This opera is only an hour and half and is performed without intermission so unfortunately for us there was no time for a quick champagne outside by the fountain.
I enjoyed this opera very much. It is full of movement along with a hint of humor and a beautiful score.
And in the end we celebrate the power of love with Orefo, Euridice, Amore, the nymphs and the shepherds.
A great performance to all!

Okay, over to Cafe Luxembourg for a late night dinner!

Love your little black dress and new shoes too! You look tres chic. Okay, you've sold me. The Met is definitely on my list for next trip.
