Alaska "The Last Frontier"

I arrived back to NYC, one of the lower 48 as they say in Alaska, and I can't stop thinking about the great land of Alaska.

Alaska is pretty much a costal state with nearly 34,000 miles of shoreline. I was in awe as we cruised passed endless mountains, glaciers, forests and fjords.

Sitka is one of the best places to view wild life and so we signed up for an ocean adventure rafting trip. We got all geared up and we were off to experience Sitka's picturesque coast.

As the low clouds hung over our heads,

we watched in awe as this baby bear swam by us. It was really cool to listen to him breathing.

As he began to move faster our heart beats grew with anticipation and then he jumped out of the water and was gone instantly.

It was AMAZING to see a humpback doing a deep dive!

TO BE CONTINUED!
