I have worked around the block from the Roosevelt Hotel for the past 8 years and kind of funny that I haven’t been to the Madison Club Lounge for a cocktail.
I was pleasantly surprised. Right up my alley, it has an old school feeling not just because of the leather chairs, chandeliers and old world paintings but it seems like the staff has been there since it opened in 1924. I say that in a good way. They know how to treat customers and make you feel comfortable. If only for a moment, perhaps when you toast to good friends, one can imagine being back in the roaring twenties. Simply a classic NYC lounge!
As for pricing, I thought reasonable for NYC. We ordered a bottle of pinot noir for $45 and ordered a trio of their famous juicy sliders and they were tasty! Next time, I may try a martini from their martini menu. Sure glad I woke up and found this sleeper!
Next on the list is their rooftop bar - Mad46 – Stay tune.
