Keste` Pizza & Vino

Keste`
271 Bleecker Street, NYC

I went to Keste`, a new Neapolitan Pizza place down on Bleecker Street over the weekend with a few friends. Thanks to my friends who know the owners Rosario & Roberto we didn’t have to went that long for a table. Oh, by the way this is their favorite place for Neapolitan pizza.
I am new to eating pizza, yes it is true, but what I can say is that I genuinely enjoyed Keste` Neapolitan pizza. The crust was a little crispy and a little soft in the middle - just perfect. The sauce and all toppings were fresh and delicious and not too heavy on the cheese - a healthy balance. We ordered 4 pizzas, so 1 pizza per person. I am not a fan of a great deal of stuff on my pizza so I would recommend the simple margherita but I will say I really enjoyed the prosciutto e argugola and the proscuitto di parma.
If you go, order the Lambrusco, which is a sparking red wine. It goes really well with the pizza. If you want dessert be sure to ask for the nutella pizza it isn’t on the menu and it is YUMMY!
Keste` translates to “this is it” in Italian -- I definitely recommend going to Keste` it is worth the trip if you don’t want to fly over to Naples!
